About the role: Vivvi is seeking a motivated and meticulous Billing and Payroll Analyst to join as a full time hire to assist the Controller and SVP of Finance with our Care Cash product fulfillment, student billing and payroll accounting processes. This is a remote, full time position. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, who is looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience at a mission-driven, high-growth company.

Responsibilities

Care Cash and Student Billing

  • Accurately enter data from Salesforce into the bank and subsequently into bill.com.
  • Manage student billing with precision and attention to detail.
  • Perform routine data entry tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all billing processes are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost care.

Payroll Management

  • Prepare and reconcile payroll entries for 11 (and growing) schools as well as headquarters.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant payroll regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR to resolve payroll discrepancies.

Accounting Functions (as needed)

  • Prepare and record month-end prepaid income entries.
  • Prepare and record prepaid expense entries.
  • Log and manage depreciation schedules for organizational assets.
  • Accurately book and reconcile insurance expenses.

Qualifications

You are set up for success in the Billing and Payroll Analyst role if you have…

  • A degree related to Finance, Accounting, or the equivalent. A degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Ideally 2-5 years of experience in the accounting field.
  • Proficiency in using software tools such as Salesforce and bill.com is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
