Job description:

Senior DevOps Engineer wanted to work remotely by PebblePost, Inc. based in New York, NY. Develop, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support distributed systems at scale. Automate and manage AWS infrastructure and deployment processes, including production and development environments. Champion best practices of AWS usage, configuration, networking, and security while maintaining engineering productivity. Monitor and maintain efficient

infrastructure operations. Identify technical debt within applications and services and ideate/implement potential fixes. Maintain and deploy distributed systems including Mesos and

Kubernetes. Automate software integration including testing, building, packaging, and deployment. Troubleshoot and/or fix bugs, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues. Develop and perform unit and integration testing while supporting test environments. Work remotely from various unanticipated locations in the U.S.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in DevOps roles. Requires 5 years of experience with/using: relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), networking with Routed Protocols; at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or Go); Cross-platform automation and configuration tool (Power Shell or similar), and Windows servers.

Salary: $190,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year.
