Position Summary
At Ozobot, we build tools that give K–8 teachers the absolute confidence to bring hands-on learning into any subject because we believe every student deserves to experience the magic of coding. We aren't here to pitch tech; we're here to support classrooms. We are looking for a Content Producer to help us share these real, impactful stories. In this role, you will use your video editing and design skills to show, rather than just tell, what happens when a student finally has that "aha!" moment. Join us in crafting purposeful content that sparks curiosity in students and builds real confidence in the teachers and parents guiding them.
Qualifications
· Intuitive storytelling: You understand the natural pacing and rhythm required to craft a compelling, human narrative, whether it’s a quick reel or an in-depth video.
· Foundational design sense: You have a strong grasp of core design principles—like layout, typography, and visual hierarchy—allowing you to conceptualize clean, readable assets that perfectly support a message.
· Collaborative problem-solving: You communicate clearly, take feedback constructively, and find creative solutions on the fly when a narrative isn't working—all while managing your time to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
· Passion for hands-on learning: You have a genuine desire to learn and deeply understand educational content and coding products so you can translate them authentically to our audience.
· Empathy for the classroom: You care about making a teacher's day easier. You ensure that our content always leaves the viewer feeling more capable, never intimidated.
Technical Skills
· Post-production workflow: You confidently own the technical video pipeline from start to finish—including media management, editing (Premiere Pro), motion graphics (After Effects), color grading, audio editing, and final delivery.
· Purposeful motion graphics: You comfortably use After Effects (or similar motion graphics software) to build custom text, lower thirds, and subtle animations.
· Audio and visual polish: You know the technical steps required to clean up dialogue, balance volume levels, and color grade raw footage so the final file looks and sounds true to a real classroom environment.
· AI-assisted workflows: You comfortably incorporate AI into your current process to streamline production. You are familiar with using platforms like Higgsfield AI, Luma Labs AI, CapCut, and native Adobe AI features for quick video edits, rapid asset resizing, auto-captioning, and audio clean-up, helping you work more efficiently while keeping the focus on the story.
· Design software proficiency: You are highly proficient in tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, allowing you to execute your creative vision and build visually appealing assets, such as IG and YT thumbnails.
