History
Lendio has a decade-plus history as the nation’s largest small business loan origination platform, serving small businesses directly with funding across 10+ funding types from 100+ fully integrated financing partners.
We’ve funded over $16 Billion in small business financing, issuing over 600,000 small business loans.
Our AI driven technology allows us to pre-qualify, seamlessly qualify and underwrite - including integration of 30+ third party data sources, intelligently decision, and predictively match borrowers to the loan offers most likely to fund their business needs. Our continued investment in that technology has increased our CAC to LTV, accelerated our speed to funding, decreased our operational effort per funded borrower, and increased our revenue per transaction consistently year over year.
This success has allowed us to expand the depth, breadth, reach, and annual revenue of our direct to SMB marketplace business continuously throughout Lendio’s history.
Productizing our technology
Over the past 3 years we’ve expanded beyond our direct relationship with SMBs by productizing our technology and launching our first lending as a service solutions to both Financial Institutions and Small Business Platforms.
Today our productized technology solutions are sold to financial institutions seeking to modernize or expand their small business lending programs, and to SMB platforms looking to embed small business financing solutions within their native workflows.
Initial in-market success and momentum are demonstrated by successful Alpha and Beta launches of our initial product offerings and 100%+ revenue growth in our software solutions in 2025. Financial institutions leveraging our solutions market today include TAB Bank, Bankwell, Grasshopper Bank, SmartBiz (Centrust Bank), CCBank, ZiFi (Zions Bank), Bitty Advance, Lendr, Peac and FundWorks. SMB platforms leveraging our embedded financing solutions include Dun & Bradstreet, Paychex, SoFi, The Hartford, Heartland Payment Systems, Meow, Ricoma and Warespace.

SMB Platforms: Lendio offers SMB platforms a fully managed, end-to-end financing solution, from opportunity identification and acquisition to application and closing, powered by automation and supported by white-glove service on demand. Leveraging an SMB platform’s own first-party data, our intelligence enhances and enriches customer insights, identifying financing opportunities within their SMB base.
Financial Institutions: Lendio’s AI-powered origination platform applies a lender’s credit policy and capital to build a scalable, high-quality SMB lending program. Combining advanced decisioning, enhanced data collection, and sophisticated workflow automation, Lendio delivers portfolio growth without large human capital or technology investments.

Customer support via Agentic AI paired with white glove service on demand that offers SMB customers personalized support throughout the funding lifecycle
Workflow and decisioning automation that evaluates applicants against an FI’s loan policy for human-assisted or automated decisions; facilitates the closing experience, including DSCR, document generation and signing.
Underwriting and origination solution that automates small business loan decisioning and underwriting for both banks and digital lenders including Dynamic pricing control to effectively adjust for higher risk cohorts.
Analytics & competitive insights: Optimization recommendations based on current loan policy; insights to help gain wallet-share and understand how other FIs are lending to your depositors.
The Opportunity
Lendio is at an inflection point — with strong momentum, a powerful platform, and a category-shaping opportunity to scale.
Following an incredible year in 2025 (20%+ growth in our core business and 100%+ in emerging lines) we’re seeking a revenue leader to help expand our platform and drive what’s next. We’re seeking a CRO who has a strong grounding in both direct and SaaS growth leadership to drive all revenue functions at Lendio—origination, platform/enterprise sales, account management, and partnerships—to scale the business to $300M+ while delivering a best-in-class lender, client, partner, and small-business customer experience.
Our next CRO will play a critical role in:
Defining a unified revenue strategy for the company
Driving sales, partnerships, account management and revenue operations
Leading our GTM strategy for emerging Saas product lines
Scaling both our origination and SaaS businesses to a combined 300M+
Partnering with product, marketing, and operations to deliver our vision holistically to the market

Responsibilities
Vision & Leadership
Own and articulate a compelling, unified revenue vision across origination and platform businesses.

Own the end-to-end revenue architecture across multiple monetization models
Leading the team selling our platform proposition to banks, non-bank lenders, and embedded partners
Leading the team serving our end customers (small businesses) high-volume business loan products
In partnership with Ops, Product, and Marketing, own the GTM strategy and vision for emerging product lines.
Set a clear, uncompromising standard for what “best-in-class” sales execution and customer experience look like in a product led organization—and what they do not.

Own revenue growth, forecasting, pipeline health, and performance across all channels for all business lines.

Organization Design & Talent
Build an environment that attracts, develops, and empowers exceptional revenue leaders.

Partner with ops and marketing to build education, training, and enablement programs that develop sales teams who are strong strategic partners to both our clients and our internal organization.

Customer Experience
Establish and scale a consultative GTM motion that clearly articulates Lendio’s platform value to both Lenders & Partners. Align pipeline to the target ICP, and set transparent expectations that lead to successful onboarding and long-term ecosystem engagement.
Champion a differentiated SMB experience grounded in transparency, speed, and trust.
Ensure sales behaviors align with Lendio’s brand and long-term customer value.
Use insight and feedback loops to continuously improve the end-to-end customer journey.
Technology, Data & AI Enablement
Accelerate the adoption of modern tools—including AI-driven capabilities—to improve decision-making, productivity, and consistency across the revenue organization.
Ensure technology intelligently enhances human judgment and customer relationships.
