Lendio is a Lehi, Utah-based fintech company empowering small businesses by simplifying access to capital. Through a curated marketplace of lenders, Lendio helps entrepreneurs secure the funding they need to survive and thrive. In addition to our established marketplace, we are expanding our product offerings to include software solutions for banks, credit unions, and other organizations that serve small business clients, making it easier for them to deliver faster, more efficient funding experiences.
Lendio is looking for a senior product designer to help in the continued differentiation of our offering compared to other software products in the financial services industry. This sector is ripe for disruption in user experience, and we’re investing in this competitive advantage.
What you’d be doing:
User research. We believe in doing things the right way – from Cooper to Lean UX, we’re committed to the best principles and practices. You will be participating in strategic direction, on-site contextual inquiry, JTD / persona development, usability testing, etc.
Rapid prototyping. We believe in moving fast from ideas to working concepts. From the early research to iterative development, you will be leading the design of every feature and contributing to / helping to manage the design system.
Driving results. We don’t believe in throwing stuff over the wall. You are part of the strategy and accountable for the results of your designs – and we’re talking about both qualitative AND quantitative results.
Helping to build a team. Since we’re a startup within a company, you will be able to influence other designers and help to create standards, processes, and culture.
