Lendio is the largest SMB lending marketplace in the US. We work with more than 75 lenders to fund more than 4k loans/ month. Over time, we have developed a range of value-added services including bank data aggregation, statement OCR, KYB, real-time APIs and marketplace intelligence. Our recently-launched Intelligent Lending platform can be used to source loans through Lendio’s marketplace or alternatively from the lender’s direct sources. Lendio Intelligent Lending is revolutionizing the way lenders automate SMB lending through the use of digital applications, transaction analysis, integrated 3rd party data, offer generation, and underwriting through the use of digitally-native AI-based SaaS.
Lendio’s Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are responsible for generating and qualifying new sales opportunities for our Intelligent Lending product. IL is revolutionizing the way lenders automate SMB lending through the use of digital applications, 3rd party data, bank data, and document import/ processing through the use of digitally-native AI-based SaaS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and qualifying new sales leads then seamlessly transitioning those leads to Sales Executives for further pursuit and closure. Lendio is investing in demand generation, product marketing and most importantly the product itself in order to realize this exciting opportunity.
Day to Day:
Establish a cohesive market/ territory attack plan based on Lendio’s value proposition and market positioning
Receive and explore marketing leads in order to quality them into sales leads
Perform outbound sales and business development activities; including but not limited to direct calls, emailing, social media, networking
Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of the client/ prospect’s business objectives, constraints and stakeholders
Cultivate a value proposition by identifying pain points and position IL as a solution to address them
Seamlessly transition leads over to Sales Executives
Support, as-needed, Sales Executives in further pursuit and closure of opportunities
Maintain accurate opportunity status and sales forecasting data through the use of CRM systems
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in demand generation, product marketing, pre-sales and product management to establish clear value stories, market differentiators and targeted, lead generation
Other duties as assigned.
Must have’s:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2+ years’ experience in sales and/or account management
1+ years’ experience in working in Fintech / BankTech
Experience using CRM technology for relationship management, pipeline tracking and reporting
Demonstrated product and industry knowledge
Ability to work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders
Strong analytical skills
Willingness to travel as needed

Pay Range:
