Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive business growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing partnerships with fleet companies for our mobile automotive services. This role requires the ability to build relationships with fleet managers, operations directors, and procurement teams to deliver comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repair solutions directly at their locations. This position requires regular travel within assigned territory up to 80% of the time.
Essential Functions:
Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential fleet company prospects across various industries including delivery services, logistics companies, ride-share operators, corporate fleets, and municipal organizations
- Develop and execute strategic outbound sales campaigns through cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and industry conferences
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools and sales methodologies
Relationship Building & Account Management
- Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers including fleet managers, operations directors, and procurement teams
- Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of mobile automotive service capabilities
- Negotiate service agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms that benefit both parties
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned fleet accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Research industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities within the fleet services sector
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform service offerings and pricing strategies
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure service capabilities align with fleet customer needs and expectations
Sales Performance & Reporting
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM system
- Provide regular sales forecasts and progress reports to management
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
- 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive services, fleet management, or related industries
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment
- Experience selling to fleet operators, logistics companies, or commercial vehicle operators preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong prospecting and lead generation abilities with experience in outbound sales techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate value propositions clearly
- Relationship-building skills with ability to establish trust and credibility with senior-level prospects
- Negotiation skills with experience structuring service agreements and contracts
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales prospecting tools
Industry Knowledge
- Understanding of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance needs, and cost management challenges
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services
- Familiarity with fleet management software and telematics solutions is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Previous experience in mobile services or on-site service delivery models
- Existing network of contacts within the fleet management industry
- Experience with consultative selling approaches and solution-based sales methodologies
