JOB PURPOSE

It’s the responsibility of our Fleet Service Advisors to optimize revenue opportunities by monitoring and managing Spiffy’s repair services to ensure accurate data entry, billing, and repair tracking. This will be achieved by communicating with technicians and operations managers, managing Spiffy’s internal Repair Board, and monitoring and responding to Repair Orders in third party Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) software. Service advisors will occasionally coordinate with fleet customers after diagnostics, schedule follow up services, negotiate labor rates, and submit warranty claims as needed.

Hours: M-F 9 a.m.-6 p.m. EST with flexibility as business needs arise outside of those hours

Compensation: $55k/year

Variable Compensation: Up to $10,000 based on meeting specific company goals that align with department

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Communicate with Operations and Technicians and check Schedule and Repair Board for newly scheduled repairs, submitting Repair Orders as needed
  • Communicate with technicians to discuss diagnostics, updating Operations, and occasionally communicating with fleet clients
  • Update, monitor, and respond to each Repair Order as needed
  • Schedule follow up repair appointments after initial diagnostics, submitting Repair Orders as needed
  • Submit necessary warranty claims to warranty providers and manufacturers
  • Audit, monitor, and update Spiffy Repair Board as needed
  • Communicate with Accounting regarding invoice adjustments
  • Identify technological improvements and process inefficiencies, and propose solutions
  • The Fleet Service Advisor works as a member of the Service and Repair Specialist Team (SRS) and reports to the Director of Fleet Account Management

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of professional Service Writing or Service Advisor experience, or equivalent automotive experience
  • Technological literacy to include experience with Excel or Google Sheets and Data Entry
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn
  • Ambitious self starter
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and common repairs
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical bulletins
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a full-time remote position requiring a dedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet, professional video conferencing setup, and quiet work environment. The role operates during standard business hours with core collaboration hours for team meetings and requires availability for occasional early/late meetings across time zones. Employee must maintain secure network connections, comply with company data security policies, and demonstrate strong self-management skills to work independently with minimal supervision.

Position requires professional communication via multiple digital platforms, regular participation in virtual meetings, and the ability to maintain productivity in a home-based environment while meeting all deadlines and performance expectations. There may be travel involved to the local CBU as needed.
