The Role:

Crafty is looking for a Delivery Specialist for our Chicago market. This role is based out of our Carol Stream warehouse and will make deliveries throughout the Chicagoland area with a main focus on downtown Chicago.

Your goal each day is to safely complete your delivery and merchandising route while providing best-in-class client service. You’ll start your day at the warehouse completing the appropriate safety and product checks before heading out on your route. Your route will feature between 5-10 stops depending on the day and route. After arriving at the client site you will safely park and unload your vehicle and then proceed to their space to begin merchandising and inventory process. You will merchandise the front of the house, making sure all products are in good condition and aesthetically pleasing, matching the established planogram agreed upon with the client. You will also complete cleaning and basic service on coffee equipment, water machines, and kegerators. After a light cleaning of the space you will turn your attention to the storage areas and review remaining inventory, complete an order for the next delivery, and summarize any notes from your visit in our industry leading proprietary operations app. You will then proceed to your next location and complete a similar process. Once all your client stops are done for the day you will return to the warehouse to unload, clean your vehicle, and provide any relevant handoff notes to your supervisor.

Who we are looking for:

Schedule: Monday-Thursday (4:30am - 3pm) starting and ending at our warehouse in Carol Stream, IL

Your experience (requirements to be successful in role):

• Safe operation of 14’-19’ box trucks in a downtown environment
• Clean driving record - willing to acquire and share motor vehicle record for review
• Customer service
• Delivery operations
• Merchandising operations
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently throughout the day
• Ability to safely lift bulky items that weigh up to 150 lbs

Your proficiencies:

• Slack
• Ability to use mobile apps to complete inventory, take pictures, post notes
• Great communication skills

Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.

You are considered fully vaccinated:

• 14 days after you dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine
• 14 days after you second dose of an accepted 2-dose series
• 14 days after you received 2 doses of any "mix-and-match" combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines administered at least 17 days apart.

If you do not meet these requirements, you are NOT considered fully vaccinated.

Compensation will start at $20 per hour with a quarterly performance bonus.
