At our core, we’re here to support AlphaSense’s growth, which we do by contributing to pipeline and revenue; developing a brand that’s widely known to the markets we serve; and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand.

About the Role:

As the Executive Communications Director, you will focus on leading communications for the CEO and the executive leadership team with the goal of ensuring AlphaSense’s strategy, goals, and initiatives are communicated clearly and effectively to employees. This is a unique opportunity to lead executive communications at a high-growth and innovative pre-IPO tech company where you will build communications strategies that will make a significant impact on the business and our culture. This role is hybrid-remote, but requires you to be in the New York office at least 3 days per week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead strategic communications plans and campaigns for AlphaSense’s executive leadership team to meet our growing business needs and help employees understand the bigger “why” and “how” behind company priorities and decisions, and how it drives our overall mission

  • Provide strategic guidance and counsel for our executive team on how to craft narratives and develop materials to engage and inspire their own teams and the broader company

  • Lead development, prep, and messaging for executive written and speaking opportunities, including Town Halls, company-wide memos, AMAs, DEI initiatives, video scripts, social campaigns, as well as earned speaking engagements

  • Partner closely with stakeholders across People, Finance, Marketing, Revenue, Product, and other departments to effectively align AlphaSense’s storytelling for internal and external audiences

  • Partner with PR and People teams on building and amplifying the external profiles of the executive leadership, including driving thought leadership and employee engagement via media and executive-hosted events

  • Measure and report on quarterly results and advise on areas to evolve based on data; optimize current internal communication channels and explore new and innovative ways to reach and engage a diverse range of internal audiences

  • Manage the Internal Communications function, which is responsible for building effective communications between leadership, teams, and employees that inform and engage the organization

Who You Are:

  • Experience working with C-suite executives with demonstrated success developing executive-level messaging and providing communications counsel to senior management teams

  • Experience executing strong communications strategies with an uncanny ability to take complex stories into a compelling and relatable narrative and format

  • Experience delivering internal communications via a mix of channels including events and speaking engagements

  • Expertise in strategic, change management, and crisis communications with a compassionate POV

  • Excellent and extensive writing, editing, project management, and presentation-building skills

  • Have a high EQ with the ability to communicate across a broad range of audiences and levels and to build and nurture cross-functional relationships—all with a high degree of professionalism, empathy, and respect

  • Plus: an advanced understanding of the financial services industry and current technology landscape
