Who we are looking for:The Transportation Specialist - Auction Services is responsible for supporting the Transportation department by facilitating commercial, residential, abandoned vehicles, lot sweep/marshalling, physical auction activities, and break-through initiative operations. This role utilizes processes and procedures established by the Transportation department to coordinate lot sweeps, resolve logistical issues related to commercial, residential, abandoned vehicles and physical auction activities, and contribute to the seamless and effective operations of the ACV Transportation product. The Transportation Specialist - Auction Services partners with carriers, customers, and internal departments and Teammates to navigate seller services-related assignments. This role performs duties with limited supervision. Please note this shift will require someone to be available from 11a-7p What you will do: Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Triage seller and lot sweep-related inquiries; manage transactions and communications to provide timely resolutions. Refer inquiries or tasks to appropriate Teammate(s).Ensure the timely removal of vehicles from designated partner locations. Work in conjunction with transporters, storage partners, and residential customers to achieve resolution.Partner with Major Accounts and Product & Technology teams to identify and implement upgraded processes. Assist management in the identification and implementation of continuous improvements and customer satisfaction opportunities.Proactively locate, review, and vet a network of quality transportation services and storage yards. Manage relationships and retain quality services.Utilize Salesforce to track and document on transportation services and storage yard network.Adjust pricing and assign carriers to ensure cost-effective and timely movement of vehicles.Partner interdepartmentally, as well as with sellers, buyers, and carriers, to determine statuses of transport jobs.Negotiate cost-effective contract rates with high volume carrier partners.Update and review status of aged inventory. Report findings to the Abandoned Vehicles team.Partner with Payments team to reconcile partner invoices.Perform additional duties as assigned. What you will need: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 1-2 years' experience in customer service or transportation industry.Intermediate problem-solving abilityTeamworking skills, including both internally and externallyProven customer service abilityCommunication and organizational skillsSense of urgency and self-motivationFamiliarity with business technology, including Microsoft Office or G Suite, and Salesforce. #LI-CG1#Ind123KW
