Who we are looking for:The Gate Attendant is responsible for controlling access to the auto auction facility, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing vehicles, and maintaining a secure and organized entry/exit process. This role plays a critical part in inventory control, customer service, and overall operational efficiency. What you will do: Monitor and control all auction vehicle traffic entering and exiting the auction lotVerify vehicle documentationAccurately log incoming and outgoing vehicles using internal systems or logsConduct visual inspections of vehicles for damage and note discrepanciesEnsure only authorized personnel and customers access the facilityProvide directions and basic assistance to customers, transport drivers, and staffCommunicate effectively with internal departments regarding vehicle movement and issuesMaintain gate area organization, cleanliness, and safety standardsReport suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations to managementFollow all company policies and procedures related to security and operationsPerform additional duties as assigned. What you will need: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in security, logistics, automotive, or customer service is a plusBasic computer and data entry skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and make sound decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicAbility to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periodsComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsVisual ability to read VINs and inspect vehicles
