The General Manager is responsible for running day-to-day operations at a business and guiding general business strategy. Responsibilities include managing a team, achieving sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining efficient operations.Responsibilities: Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staffCreating and implementing strategies for business growthHiring new staff within a department or business unitEnsuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clientsWorking closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clientsDeveloping new solutions to meet client needsImproving internal processes for better productivityOverseeing large projects and interpreting performance reportsManaging the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit Experience & Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).5+ years in business operations. Preferably in the wholesale automotive industry. Knowledge & Skills: Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorshipExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listeningEffective conflict resolution and problem-solving Keen strategic thinking and planningUnderstanding of budget management and financial monitoringExceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilitiesKeen attention to detail #LI-CR1
