Who are we looking for:

We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead our Order Management Systems platform, with a focus on ensuring orders flow accurately and reliably from capture through financial settlement, while powering the internal tools and event streams that the rest of the business depends on.

As a Product Manager for our Order Management Systems team you will sit at the intersection of:

  • Order lifecycle and transactional flows (capture, fulfillment status, completion)

  • Financial systems and ERP integration (NetSuite settlement and accounting)

  • Internal operations tooling for ops teammates running the order book day to day

  • Event-driven orchestration that informs downstream teams of completed transactions and orders

This role directly impacts revenue recognition accuracy, operational throughput, and organizational confidence in our data across the platform.

This role sits at the core of building a reliable transactional backbone by ensuring the platform has the most accurate, most timely, and most trustworthy order and financial data flowing through the business. Your team will help build the customer-facing experiences and the internal management layers on top, but your role extends to encompass the integrity, completeness, and timeliness of the underlying order management and settlement layer that ultimately determines whether revenue is recognized correctly, ops can scale without proportional headcount, and other product teams can trust the events they consume. You will drive how orders are captured, aggregated into NetSuite for settlement and accounting, orchestrated across internal ops tools, and broadcast as events to downstream consumers, powering everything from financial close to ops productivity to cross-team workflow automation. By improving reliability, reducing reconciliation gaps, and providing dependable event streams, you enable faster, more accurate decision-making across the organization, creating a foundation the entire business is built on.

What you will do:

  • Own the OMS platform end to end the financial aggregation layer feeding NetSuite settlement and accounting, the internal order management tools used by ops teammates, and the event producers that notify downstream teams of completed transactions and orders.

  • Lead as the connective tissue between Engineering, Finance, Internal Operations, and the downstream product teams that consume order and transaction events.

  • Partner with engineering and Finance to define settlement, reconciliation, and revenue recognition flows that are accurate, auditable, and aligned to financial close timing requirements.

  • Partner with engineering to define event schemas, delivery guarantees, and integration contracts that upstream and downstream teams can depend on

  • Define and own platform SLAs order throughput, event delivery latency, settlement accuracy, and reconciliation completeness and hold the team accountable to them as if internal customers were paying customers.

  • Employ a hypothesis-driven approach to internal ops tooling investments, converting ambiguity and assumptions into a clear framework for validation via structured rollouts, ops user feedback, and operational metrics.

  • Ensure data quality and reliability across the transactional layer, including idempotency, reconciliation, event replay, and recovery from upstream or downstream failure.

  • Translate complex transactional flows spanning order capture, settlement, and event distribution into actionable insights that drive product prioritization and unblock internal customers.

  • Improve operational throughput and reduce manual work for ops teammates by identifying high-leverage workflow improvements in the OMS surface and prioritizing them against platform and integration investments.

  • Guide product strategy by evaluating and clearly communicating critical trade-offs between system complexity, time-to-market, and operational or financial risk (e.g., strict consistency vs. throughput, generic event contracts vs. consumer-specific ones)

  • Define and own a 6–12 month roadmap across Order Management, ERP/Settlement integration, and Event Orchestration.

  • Articulate and advocate for platform strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes to executive leadership to secure buy-in and alignment.

What you should have:

  • 4+ years industry (Auto-tech) / Product Management experience, ideally including time on a platform, financial systems, or order management product area.

  • Experience owning order management, financial settlement, or transactional platform product areas, including ERP integration (NetSuite a strong plus), event-driven architectures, and internal operations tooling.

  • Strong understanding of transactional system hygiene, including idempotency, reconciliation, event delivery semantics (at-least-once vs. exactly-once), data lineage, and the processes required to maintain trusted, auditable financial and operational data flows.

  • Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing automation or system improvements that reduce manual ops effort, accelerate financial close, or improve event reliability for downstream consumers.

  • Proven track record of leading the end-to-end delivery of complex, technical platform products, from ideation through to launch and iteration, consistently driving measurable business impact for internal customers (Finance, Ops, downstream product teams).

  • Ability to drive product strategy by translating complex transactional and financial flows into actionable insights, which requires a strong quantitative toolkit including hands-on proficiency in SQL, structured rollout and validation design, and a deep understanding of platform metrics architecture (throughput, latency, error rates, reconciliation accuracy).

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams and with non-engineering internal customers such as Finance and Operations.

  • Agile experience and release planning prioritization skills

  • Presentation skills - Ability to simplify complex transactional systems and financial flows for non-technical stakeholders

  • Mentoring and coaching skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or similar). Advanced degrees are a plus.
