Who we are looking for:

An individual that will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our diverse vehicle inventory. Your expertise and abilities will be crucial in coordinating repair and maintenance tasks for our auction vehicles. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for automobiles, exceptional technical skills, and a drive to work alone or in a group setting.

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • You’ll get your hands dirty learning the ins and outs of the automotive technician field. With guidance, you’ll develop new skills to add to your growing toolbox. Other responsibilities include:
  • Assist in Pre and Post Sale Inspections for our certification program and Dealer Consignment
  • De Commission/De-ID Fleet Units
  • CR Writer (Fleet and Dealer Units): Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation.
  • Completion of Condition Report Activities and related reporting and/or recordkeeping
  • including but not limited to: (interior/exterior),
  • Repair/replacement estimates and related documentation.
  • Identify, and assess structural damage, frame condition, and alignment of vehicle body panels and repairs along with detecting missing parts and mechanical problems.
  • Mechanical Repairs
  • Lot Organization
  • Sale Day Lane Runner
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming auction vehicles to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Coordinate with auction coordinators to prioritize repairs and manage the flow of vehicles in and out of the shops to meet auction deadlines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Minimum Education Level (High School Graduate or Equivalent)
  • The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle a wide range of automotive issues.
  • 6+ months of related work experience.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
