RC Customer Service - Repo Specialist

Summary
Processes incoming vehicles via tablet into auction database.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Scan VIN barcodes using a tablet to input data into auction software.
- Follow screen prompts to accurately fill in required vehicle information.
- Must always work with a sense of urgency.
- Must be able to adapt to change and a variety of situations and intense workloads
- Check BOL, bill of lading, and dealer list for dealer number.
- Move vehicles from processing station to designated locations.
- Inventory personal property and remove trash from vehicles.
- Knowledge of how the lot is parked.
- Heavy Customer Service
- Jumpstart vehicles.
- Forklift vehicles
- Lane lead or jumpbox for repo lane during auction.
- Performs any other duty or assignment as may be assigned from time to time by the operations manager.
Document and verify miles and announcements (stated below) on vehicles by scanning VIN barcode via tablet:
- Current Mileage
- Year
- Vehicle Make
- Vehicle Model
- VIN Number
- Lot Number
- Engine light, air bag light and abs light.
- Grade dents and major scratches
- Post dealer information on windshield
- Post stickers

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Current valid driver's license.

Must be able to work outside in the elements for entire shift with exception of breaks and lunches.
