Who we are looking for:

The People Services Specialist will provide high-quality People & Culture support and services to Teammates and People Leaders across various functions. This role will focus on operational excellence, ensuring efficient delivery of People & Culture services, and enhancing Teammate satisfaction through effective resolution of inquiries and issues. This role is responsible for overseeing all audit processes and compliance initiatives on an international scale within an organization. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of employee data, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting the organization's overall data governance efforts. Responds in a timely fashion to inquiries, other departments, Teammates, or outside vendors to independently resolve a variety of complex problems. Has the ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion. The People Services Specialist possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Serve as a point of contact for People & Culture related queries and issues from Teammates and People Leaders.
  • Provide timely and accurate information on policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Connect Teammates with proper teams for inquiries specifically regarding Benefits, Compensation and or Payroll that may require special attention. Manage employee records and ensure data integrity in current system of record.
  • Processes transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, manager changes, and transfers.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and metrics to support decision-making.
  • Maintain People & Culture documentation, such as manuals and standard operating procedures. Verify the accuracy and integrity of data entered into the system of record. This may involve implementing data validation checks, conducting regular audits, and establishing processes for data correction and reconciliation.
  • Ensuring that data entered is accurate and free from errors. This includes verifying the information and using validation checks to prevent incorrect data entry.
  • Location, pay policy and entitlement policies audit will be conducted on a regular cadence. Other audits will be identified by the People & Culture leaders on a as needed basis.
  • Meeting internal reporting needs, such as headcount reports, turnover analysis, or diversity metrics. Data would be shared with stakeholders within the organization, including People & Culture leadership, People Leaders, and Executives.
  • Maintaining documentation of data entry processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and facilitate audits or reviews. Documenting any deviations from standard procedures and the rationale behind them. Monitor People & Culture practices and policies to ensure they comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards. Compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including minimum wage rates and overtime pay.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Teammates with the system of record training and education. Prepare updated training tools to publish on the Intranet and ACV University.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
  • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement programs and policy updates.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to assist with implementation of new systems or tools.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • 2 year/Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field or combination of experience and education.
  • 6+ months' Human Resources or administrative experience, preferably within shared services environment.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and able to provide solutions to a variety of non-routine problems/issues in an approachable and friendly manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a time sensitive environment and exhibit excellent multi-tasking skills while prioritizing the workload.
  • Ability to sensitively handle confidential information and material.
  • Ability to be a positive team-player who also has the self-motivation to work independently.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.

Compensation: $24.00-$25.25 hourly. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
