Who we are looking for:

The Site Accountant will be responsible for supporting the regional accounting team by reconciling and supervising the accounts payable and receivable processes and contributing to the overall financial health of the company through exposure to various accounting functions. The Site Accountant is organized, efficient, adaptable, and able to lean into multiple areas of accounting.

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Reconcile bank and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Support month close by rolling forward and maintaining balance sheet reconciliation schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to accomplish other elements of month close.
  • Obtain, reformat, organize and file schedules from auction management systems.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary financial documentation and reports.
  • Maintain and update accounting files, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivables tasks
  • Reconcile cash clearing accounts to ensure accuracy of payment application processes.
  • Support and maintain the payment processes that adhere to internal controls and external expectations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • 5+ years heavy experience in accounting, involving reconciliations and other monthly close responsibilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in multiple accounting platforms (e.g.: QuickBooks and NetSuite).
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
