Who we are looking for:

The Transportation Admin - Auction Services is responsible for supporting the Transportation department through commercial, residential, abandoned vehicles, lot sweep/marshalling, physical auction activities, and break-through initiative-related tasks. This role utilizes processes and procedures established by the Transportation department to support seller services by triaging logistical issues related to commercial, residential, abandoned vehicles and physical auction activities, and contribute to the seamless and effective operations of the ACV Transportation product. The Transportation Admin - Auction Services works with carriers, customers, and internal departments and Teammates to perform seller services-related tasks. This role performs duties with moderate supervision.

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Triage seller and lot sweep-related inquiries; process transactions and communications to provide timely resolutions. Refer inquiries or tasks to appropriate Teammate(s).
  • Ensure the timely removal of vehicles from designated partner locations. Work in conjunction with transporters and storage partners to achieve resolution.
  • Collaborate with management and team to express ongoing issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactively locate, review, and vet a network of quality transportation services and storage yards. Manage relationships and retain quality services.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track and document on transportation services and storage yard network.
  • Partner interdepartmentally, as well as with sellers, buyers, and carriers, to determine statuses of transport jobs.
  • Update and review status of aged inventory. Report findings to the Abandoned Vehicles team.
  • Partner with Payments team to reconcile partner invoices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 months experience in customer service, administrative or clerical work, or transportation industry.
  • Basic problem-solving ability
  • Developing teamworking skills, including both internally and externally
  • Proven customer service ability
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • Familiarity with business technology, including Microsoft Office or G Suite. Salesforce experience a plus.

Compensation: $18.50 per hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
