ACV Auctions is looking for an enthusiastic Team Lead, CR Writer who has a knack for cars and wants an opportunity to join a growing company. What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Supervise and motivate the CR team to deliver high-quality, consistent vehicle condition reports.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and support ongoing development.
  • Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure workload balance and operational deadlines are met.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits on condition reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing vehicles are inspected according to company and industry standards.
  • Maintain a standardized and streamlined inspection process across all CR staff.
  • Coordinate and manage the movement of vehicles into the lease department.
  • Work closely with internal teams (lease, yard, transport) to ensure efficient handover.
  • Act as a liaison between the CR team and the lease department teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Proven experience in vehicle inspection, condition reporting, or a related field (lease or fleet operations experience a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with inspection software and basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with vehicle standards and transportation logistics.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, damages, and appraisal methods.
  • Experience using inventory management or condition reporting platforms.
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission
