Who we are looking for:

Troubleshooting and fixing vehicle problems aiming for maximum reliability and functionality. An excellent Jump Truck driver has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in general mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must also be good communicators to provide advice to internal customers.

What you will do:

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Inspect vehicles for minor mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Airing up tires
  • Fueling vehicles
  • Charging/jumping starting vehicles
  • Schedule further maintenance as needed for work outside of general scope
  • Keep logs on work and issues
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Proven experience in general mechanics
  • Working knowledge of general vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
  • Preferred background in automotive industry
  • Must have valid driver’s license and use of a validly registered and insured motor vehicle required.
  • Must have experience with jumping multiple types of vehicles
  • Able to follow through on tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to do many different tasks as directed, when directed
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods.
  • Must be able to physically enter and exit all types of vehicles with ease.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
