Who we are looking for:
The Sr. Account Manager, Transportation has a high level understanding of ACV customers to deliver value added Transportation services based on their needs and expectations. This role will collaborate and partner with all ACV Sales Teams as well as Transport Operations and Business Operations. The Sr. Account Manager, Transportation's primary responsibility will be to retain and win new transport orders from existing ACV customers and external customers. The role will be responsible for coordinating with the existing account coverage in order to build relationships, pitch transport, and close deals.
Remote / Travel
This role is remote but candidates that can be in the Buffalo, NY office at least 2 days a week are preferred.
Occasional corporate travel to customers may be required up to 20%. For candidates not in Buffalo, additional travel will be required to the Buffalo, NY office.

What you will need:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years’ B to B/SMB environment
- Sales or Account Management background
- Skills that can communicate both written and oral across multi-functional groups to ensure results.
- Problem solver, strong business acumen, ability to collaborate and self motivated
- A reliable self-starter attitude who is capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in using a CRM software (preferably Salesforce) to maintain and plan sales pipeline
- Experience in the automotive and or transportation industry is a plus
- Ability to analyze variances and trends to determine changes in key business metrics vs expectations and review with the leadership team.
- Experience with ACV a plus, with working knowledge of all ACV Auctions products and services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Google, Salesforce, etc. or comparable software application.
- Team Player that is adaptable to changes and improvement
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually. This position is eligible for additional compensation pursuant to ACV’s incentive compensation plan. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
