What you'll be doing:

As a Sales Operations Analyst you will be responsible for driving process improvements and sales enablement to the sales functions at ACV Auctions. An analytical mindset to leverage data to create insights and frame on the people and financial impacts on the organization and ACV dealer partners. The ideal candidate is someone who is always on the lookout for opportunities to improve things iteratively and is comfortable with experimentation. This individual sees challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth with persistence. A
financially-minded person who empathizes with a salesperson that is not above “rolling up the sleeves” to do what’s necessary to produce positive outcomes.

  • Manage the incentive and sales accelerator & promotion analysis to enable accurate and on-time
    incentive pay for the sales organization.
  • Manage the T&E threshold setting process, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting of sales T&E
    spend to ensure transparency and consistency.
  • Identify sales tooling and process for improvement and coordinate with Business Systems, Product &
    Technology on development or third-party solutions to expand capabilities with measurable impact.
  • Disseminate best practices across the sales organization and provide feedback from voice of customer
  • Collect and share best practices, sales success and case studies to provide sales team with expanding
    toolbox to tailor to customer interaction and proposals.
  • Other ad-hoc special projects assigned by CSO and Sr. Director of Sales Ops.

What you should have:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience across Finance, Consulting or Operations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills tailored to audience.
  • Thrive in a data-driven business; Tableau and SQL preferred.
  • Work experience in consulting, finance, or product management is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, and Python (or similar analytical packages) a plus.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions.
  • Self-starter attitude with a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $65,000 - $77,000 annually. This position is eligible for additional compensation pursuant to ACV’s incentive compensation plan. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
