Who we are looking for:

The Analyst, Appraisal will evaluate automotive inventory and determine appropriate vehicle pricing for online auctions. This role will use data, knowledge and research to apply pricing metrics that will enable the successful sale of vehicles for sellers, buyers and ACV Auctions. The Analyst, Appraisal reports directly to the Manager, Appraisals, and follows standard practices and procedures for analyzing and establishing vehicle prices.

What you will do:

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to add value through appraisals.
• Ensure successful launching of auctions.
• Evaluate information regarding the condition of vehicles provided by ACV Auctions field inspectors acquired through onsite inspections
• Leverage and research data to determine the appropriate appraisal price for vehicles to be placed on a vehicle through the use of Market Valuation tools, including ACV Market Report, MMR, BlackBook.
• Partner with the Sales teams to provide guidance and direction on vehicle pricing for sellers.
• Monitor and respond to emails regarding offers related to ACV's pricing programs.
• Respond to counter offers based on pricing metrics and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• 3 years’ automotive field sales experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• An expert level of automotive knowledge is required to be proficient in the role, and deeper knowledge with respect to makes, models, and mechanicals will be beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, online research and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with internal and external customers in order to explain and defend decisions made.

Compensation: $25.00 - $29.33 per hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
